David Laufman was the Department of Justice-National Security Division, Deputy Asst. Attorney General in charge of counterintelligence. Laufmen and FBI counterintelligence deputy Peter Strzok interviewed Hillary Clinton in the Clinton email scandal investigation on July 2, 2016. Laufmen resigned from the civil service on February 7, 2018.
