Dadaism

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by NathanG (Talk | contribs) at 18:15, April 6, 2008. It may differ significantly from current revision.

Dadaism was a movement in art in the early 1900s that produced a wide variety of visual, performed, and written "art". Dadaists were largely anti-war, and even "anti-art". Their work questioned and challenged conceptions about what art was and what it meant. They had a significant influence on later modernistic art trends, particularly surrealism.
