Conservative insights

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Deborah (Talk | contribs) at 21:05, July 31, 2008. It may differ significantly from current revision.

Conservative insights are truths discovered or ideas implemented, for the benefit of all, as a result of the conservative movement:

  • that Reagan's public exhortation to "tear down this wall" would result, merely a few years later, in tearing down the Berlin Wall[1]
  • that decreasing taxes would increase government revenue[2][3]
  • that more guns leads to less crime[4][5]
  • that "Choose Life" license plates would be popular and productive
  • that requiring abortionists to have hospital privileges within 30 miles of the operation to handle complications would reduce victimizing abortions[6]
  • that Hollywood Values leads to higher incidence of breast cancer, because they are more likely to have an abortion, which can cause breast cancer, at younger ages, and early death from drug addiction and depression.

This is because if you ban guns this will only prevent good people from having access to guns, which is the main reason why people buy guns in the first place, criminals will still get access to guns, for example the only place in the USA that has banned guns, D.C., has the highest murder rate in the country, because criminals do not have to worry about being hurt by a victim, studies have shown criminals are more scared of civilians than police officers, because there is so many restrictions placed on them concerning when they can use a gun
