Mary Martha Corinne Morrison Claiborne “Cokie” Roberts (December 27, 1943 – September 17, 2019) was a longtime left-wing propagandist for National Public Radio and ABC News. She was the daughter of high-ranking Democrat segregationist Hale Boggs and Lindy Boggs, both of whom served in the United States House of Representatives.
Roberts has characterized Trump supporters as "morally tainted".[1] Unlike her strongly pro-life mother who supported and voted in favor of the Hyde Amendment,[2] she was pro-abortion and a Catholic in name only.[3][4]
