Ciro Rodriguez, born December 9, 1946 (age 77), is a Democratic U.S. Congressman representing the Texas's 23erd District. He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1987 to fill the vacancy caused by the death of U.S. Representative Frank Tegeda. Rodriguaz won the following two elections, but lost his re-election bid in 2004. He won back his seat in Congress in the 2006 election.

Over the course of the current Congress, Rodriguez has voted with the majority of the House Democrats ninety-six percent of the time. [1].
