In Iran Christians suffer various forms of persecution. For example, they are discriminated against, detained, imprisoned or in extreme cases they are killed. Open Doors has listed Iran on the 8th rang.
Law in Iran
The Islamist government impose Sharia-law. Everybody is under Islamic law. Every Muslim who leaves Islam is stoned. Christians were watched closely by the religious police. If they are engaged in evangelism, they will be arrested.
Example
