Rochelle M. Pingree (born April 2, 1955) is a U.S. Representative from Maine's first congressional district and a member of the Democratic Party, having been elected in 2008. She serves on the Rules Committee and the Armed Services Committee. Previously Pingree was a member of the Maine Senate.
In the 111th Congress, Pingree voted with a majority of her Democratic colleagues 97.9% of the time.[1] Pingree is a co-sponsor of the communist Medicare for All bill.
