Candace Amber Owens Farmer (born April 29, 1989, in Stamford, Connecticut, age 34) is a conservative producer, political commentator, intellectual, and founder of the Blexit movement. She is especially well known for leaving the anti-Trump Democrat plantation to join the conservative movement against Antifa, Black Lives Matter, and the Left. On PragerU, she runs The Candace Owens Show, a series of intellectual debates between other intellectuals and herself. On The Daily Wire, she runs Candace, where she hosts panel discussions with an emphasis on popular culture. Subsequently, the lamestream media quickly labeled her as a "white supremacist" in many failed smear attacks due to her open opposition to liberal bigotry.

In April 2019, after being too uppity for white liberals to handle anymore in refuting the Southern Strategy and the U.S. "Party-switch" myth, the left-wing PolitiFact absurdly called the statement “False” while providing skewed "evidence" for its conclusion. The page claimed that Republicans in the 1960s appealed to Southern racism when Richard Nixon initially opposed school busing as a brisk means of desegregation; keeping context in relation, the latter notion was considered to be very liberal measure during the time and was likely opposed by many conservatives who strictly feared setting precedents for further expansions of federal government power (and not over the issue of race) that occurred under the 1964 Civil Rights Act and the 1965 Voting Rights Act. In addition, PolitiFact also ridiculously made an assertion that Nixon's adherence to strict constructionism in Supreme Court nominations was also an appeal to Southern racists, despite the fact that such has no specific relation to racism. The article went on to cite quotes by Republicans during that time, such as RINO Lamar Alexander during 1969, who vaguely asserted that there had been a strategy to appeal to conservatives in the South; it's also important to note that while Nixon did win the 1968 election with a number of Southern states, this did not include the Deep South, which strongly leaned for segregationist Democrat George Wallace. The article would go on arguing that "coded language" was a mechanism to appeal to racists in the South, despite outright providing insufficient evidence to directly back up the notion.

Dispute with Cardi B

Owens got in a very public Instagram dispute with vulgar pop star Cardi B in September 2020. Cardi B, with her 70 million followers, was exploited by the Democratic National Committee on behalf of Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden. Cardi B ended up deleting all her comments from her end of the debate. In summary, Owens posted,

"I did not mean it as an insult to Cardi B. If anything it was me calling out the DNC and Democrats for insulting black America for platforming her and her nonsense and her ignorance as someone viable to give a sound interview to Joe Biden… She had no argument and she could not argue with me obviously from an intellectual standpoint… She is barely literate and she’s offended by me saying that but she’s already proven that I was correct in that assessment by her responses to me… I would challenge Joe Biden to read the lyrics of her song aloud… She says she wants her taxes lowered in the very same breathe that she says she wants free universal healthcare for all. It sounded to me like an 8-year-old girl reading a Santa list."

Dispute with Black "Conservatives"

A Twitter feud between Owens and Baltimore Congressional candidate Kimberly Klacik was just one manifestation of the antipathy toward Candace Owens from many "conscious black conservatives" --- self-proclaimed black conservatives who support identity politics when it benefits black people and prioritize their identity politics over their alleged conservatism. These people have a similar antipathy toward fellow Blexit co-founder Brandon Tatum, and for similar reasons: intensely jealous of their success and influence, they have viciously attacked both Tatum and Owens for race-mixing with white people. Jennifer Oliver O'Connell even penned a column attacking them as Conservative, Inc. --- even though she writes a column for RedState and the conscious black conservatives had a panel at CPAC 2021, which they used to implicitly insult Candace Owens. Brandon Tatum describes himself and Owens as "conservatives who happen to be black" and the conscious conservatives as "black people who happen to be conservative." Joe Collins wrote an article with the backwards premise that Owens and other black conservatives don't care about the inner cities and take every available opportunity to bash inner-city black Republicans and conservatives. A major sticking point between the real black conservatives and the conscious black conservatives was the Ahmaud Arbery case --- some black conservatives, like Brandon Tatum, claimed that the black jogger was killed in self-defense, and these claims caused the conscious conservatives to lash out. A second major sticking point was the Juneteenth National Holiday --- some black conservatives, like Candace Owens, as well as non-black conservatives claimed the federal holiday was an attempt by leftists to co-opt and restructure American history to fit the mould of the 1619 Project rather than the truth; these claims again caused the conscious conservatives to lash out, and this prompted the very public Twitter feud between Owens and Kim Klacik. Other conscious black conservatives include Maj Toure, Kira Davis, Sonnie Johnson, Shemeka Michelle, and Felicia Killings.

Criticism of MeToo

In response to the Kavanaugh smear and MeToo movement Owens observed:

“The concept that we should just believe women is exactly what got my ancestors lynched. We’ve learned our lesson the hard way with that.”

In October 2018, Owens had a misunderstanding with Kanye West over the use of a tradename on the design of a clothing line to promote Blexit: “I am blessed to say that this logo, these colors, were created by my dear friend and fellow superhero Kanye West.” West clarified a misunderstanding: "I introduced Candace to the person who made the logo and they didn’t want their name on it so she used mine." In a blog post, Owens apologized for misunderstanding and "any undue stress or pain the effort to correct [this] rumor has caused him, his business relationships, or his family. He simply never designed them." On August 28, 2020, Owens announced she was around 6 months pregnant.
