The Bolivarian Alliance of the Americans is a anti-American international organization, founded by Hugo Chavez. Chavez justified that the Free Trade Area of the Americas (ALCA) is an "instrument of imperialism".

The biggest part of the members of ALBA are left socialist states:

- Bolivia
- Dominica
- Ecuador
- Cuba
- Nicaragua
- St. Vincent and the Grenadines

Honduras was also a member, but after the victory of the conservative National Party of Honduras, it left the organization.
