Beta male

Deep State informant Eric Ciaramella, who has been derided by his critics as an example of a beta male.[1]

A beta male is a term derived from the designation for beta animals in ethology. In the animal kingdom, the terms alpha, beta, and gamma male are commonly used to describe an individual's position within a social hierarchy. In animal social hierarchies, alpha male are the highest-ranking males within a social group, followed by beta, and then gamma males.[2]

Beta males in human social hierarchies

In terms of human social hierarchies, the term has been frequently used in the manosphere, along with its counterpart, "alpha male", designating males that are not beta.

A beta male is an unremarkable, careful male who avoids risk and confrontation. Beta males lack the physical presence, charisma and confidence of the alpha male. Beta males are often derided because they completely lack all necessary masculine qualities. This is usually achieved by an indulgence and/or indoctrination in emasculating liberal ideologies.

The average beta male is a feminist, nonathletic, and likely reduces all his arguments to labeling the opposition as "Nazis" or other over the top labels.

Beta male behavior amoung animals

Among chimpanzees, beta males attempt to gain alliances with gamma males in order to usurp the power of alpha males.[3]
