Balliol College is one of the colleges of the University of Oxford. Thought to have been founded in 1263,[1] it has some claim to be the oldest college, although this is disputed. It was named for its benefactor, the 13th century nobleman John Balliol.

Today the College has about 400 undergraduate and 200 postgraduate students.[2] It is located on the corner of St Giles and Broad Street, in central Oxford.
