In regards to atheism and evolution, a majority of the most prominent and vocal defenders of the evolutionary position which employs methodological naturalism since World War II have been atheists.[1][2] Creationist scientists assert that the theory of evolution is an inadequate explanation for the variety of life forms on earth.[3]
Creation scientists tend to win the Creation-Evolution debates and many debates have been held since the 1970's, particularly in the United States.
Darwinian evolutionary theory, at least in the mind of John Q. Public, is the number one argument for atheism[1] and is something our public schools keep trying to indoctrinate into our children in place of Christian values.
