Arianna Huffington is a former Republican but now a liberal journalist, along with being a co-founder and editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post, a left-wing website. She supports John Kerry and the Occupy Wall Street-movement. In 2011, she made millions after AOL acquired the Huffington Post. The Huffington Post at the time of its sale had been privately owned by two co-founders, and a group of investors. Thereafter, she was named president and editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post Media Group which is owned by AOL and oversees the Huffington Post, AOL News and AOL content.
