Activator Methods Technique

Activator Methods Technique more simply known as Activator is a chiropractic technique developed by Arlan Fuhr, D.C. in the 1960s. According to the parent body, Activator Methods International,[1] Activator is backed by much clinical research. Activator adjusting has several benefits, both for the chiropractor and the patient. The instrument delivers a consistent force each time and is not dependent upon the physical strength of the chiropractor, ensuring consistency in results. This is also a benefit to the practitioner by reducing the likelihood of fatigue that is prevalent with manual manipulation.
