The 2008 Presidential Debates are the debates that occurred between Presidential candidates in the 2008 Presidential Election. The Democrat, Senator Barack Obama, debated the Republican, Senator John McCain three times, first in Oxford, Mississippi on September 26th [1] and again in Nashville, Tennessee on October 7th in a town-hall format. Their last debate was held in Hempstead, New York. On October 2nd, Obama's running mate, Senator Joe Biden, debated McCain's running mate, Sarah Palin.
