Homosexual denial

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by JustinSatyr (Talk | contribs) at 17:13, December 25, 2009. It may differ significantly from current revision.

Homosexual denial consists of clever verbal manipulations by homosexuals trying to seduce same-sex partners, and by advocates of homosexuality trying to trick good people into condoning homosexual relations.

In seduction, one of the most common tactics employed is to pretend that intercourse between two males (or females) isn't really homosexuality:

  • "We are just experimenting/exploring"
  • "Bi-curious"
  • What happens in prison (or on board a ship) is a "special case"

Seducers and advocates alike employ the argument that same-sex relations cannot be labeled as homosexual unless one or both parties has a "homosexual orientation". It's an attempt to subvert the following argument:

  1. Sex between members of the same gender is immoral
  2. We are the same gender, and we are having sex
  3. Therefore, what we are doing is immoral

Below, the denial consists in substituting the word homosexual or homosexuality in a misleading way:

  1. Homosexuality is sex between members of the same gender having a homosexual orientation.
  2. We are the same gender, and we are having sex
  3. Society considers sexual contact between homosexuals immoral
  4. One or both of us is not "a homosexual"

No conclusion can be drawn from the premises.
