+Although most series since ''Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger'' were adapted into seasons of Power Rangers, a few series were not.  There are varying reasons from the season not being a viable choice for western audiences, to other series being more popular.

-In February 2018, it was announced that Hasbro would be acquiring the Master Toy License from Bandai.  Shortly after, Power Rangers Beast Morphers was announced as the 26th season, based on ''Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters.''  ''Beast Morphers'' would also be the first season since seasons had been split into to groups of 20 episodes to not have a "Super" in the title of the latter half of the run.  In addition to the standard Beast Morphers toy line, Hasbro announced the "Lightning Collection," which is the equivalent of lines as the Star Wars Black Series and Marvel Legends, both of which are also made by Hasbro.  In 2020, Hasbro announced that season 28 would be called ''Power Rangers Dino Fury,'' based on the 2019 Sentai, ''Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger.''  ''Dino Fury'' will be the fifth season in the history of the series to have a dinosaur motif.  On September 8, 2020, the potential cast of ''Dino Fury'' was leaked.  The cast includes a female green ranger, which in the Sentai was male. This will be the first season to have a gender swapped ranger since 2002's ''Power Rangers Wild Force.''  The Dino Fury Green Ranger was also the first to be gay.  The final season of Power Rangers, called ''Power Rangers Cosmic Fury'', was released to Netflix on August 28, 2023, the 30th anniversary.  Based on 2017's ''Uchu Sentai Kyuranger'', this season saw the return of David Yost as a regular cast member. <ref>

 ==Zordon Era==
-The first six seasons of Power Rangers are collectively referred to as the Zordon Era.  This is because all six seasons were connected with each other in that they were continuations of previous ones.  After the first three seasons of ''Mighty Morphin Power Rangers'', producers decided it was time for a major overhaul of the show.  As a result, the show was renamed ''Power Rangers Zeo'' for it's fourth season.  The following season, ''Power Rangers Turbo'', is widely regarded as one of the worst seasons of all time, mainly due to the motif being automobiles and the inclusion of a child ranger, Justin Stewart.  After the dismal performance of Turbo, Saban was given one last season to wrap up the storyline, resulting in ''Power Rangers in Space''. The sixth season of Power Rangers would prove to be very popular, enough to renew the show.  However, the storyline first started in Season One ended with the 2-parter, ''Countdown to Destruction.''
