The system is mounted on a 4x4 light vehicle, allowing it to quickly move, deploy, and reposition alongside [[military\\ units or around critical sites. It features a passive phased array 3D [[radar]] capable of detecting aerial targets at distances of up to 50 km. Integrated optical, thermal, and infrared sensors can reportedly track targets from as far as 25 km, including in poor visibility conditions.

Azarakhsh carries four ready-to-fire infrared guided surface-to-air missiles reportedly derived from upgraded Iranian Sidewinder technology.
