The word '''abstinence''' means refraining from indulging in an appetite.

In the 1800s and 1900s, the word "abstinence," used without other explanation, almost always meant abstinence from [[drinking|alcohol]]. Although many Americans believe abstinence to be good, it is still regarded by the rest of the sane world (those non puritanical christians included) as abstinence not necessarily being a good thing.

Control of the masses through sex and fear is the church's main weapon, and has been for many years. The pleasure sexual intercourse (the act of placing the penis into the vagina) can in fact be extremely pleasurable, emotionally bonding and an excellent way to have fun.

Those that continue to be abstinent and eventually get married are exceptionally disappointed on their first time, as both parties are totally inexperienced and only have retarded scientific ideas - if that - of what sex is.

It is with great regret that i concede that some retards have taken to abstinence, for reasons such as God smiting them. There are genuine reasons for abstinence, such as to prevent the spread of AIDs through the STI HIV. However many idiots - puritanical christians indoctrinated from birth without fair viewing of the world - believe that they shall be closer to god by denying their most basic of survival instincts, held by all creatures of the planet for the billions of years through which they have evolved.

'''Intelligence testing''' began in an organized way in the early 20th Century with the [[Stanford-Binet]] test. The purpose was to form an estimate of a person's aptitude before investing time and money in their education.

At the time these tests were developed, medical science and psychology were
in their infancy. Ideas such as [[eugenics]] still had currency, and intelligence tests were used to weed out so-called "defectives".

Testers classified people as idiots, imbeciles, morons, normal, above average, and geniuses on a numerical scale based on [[mental age]]. For children, dividing the mental age by chronological age produces the [[intelligence quotient]] (IQ) used for placement in slow or rapid classes.

In the United States, intelligence tests were to classify recruits and draftees for service in World War II. The more technical jobs were assigned to men with higher scores. Sociologists also noted racial differences in IQ scores, and some supposed that these differences were inherent. A controversy over this matter has raged ever since.

Open questions for psychologists and sociologists focus on what produces differences in [[intelligence]], whether intelligence can be developed or stunted by upbringing and education, and why different [[race]]s or cultural groups have significantly different scores.

The two main reasons given are:

#that upbringing, education and social factors can skew the results

The field of intelligence testing has been acrimonious and contentious. The Bell Curve book is not the only controversial study on IQ among different races or groups of people. Danish professor [[Helmuth Nyborg]] has conducted studies of IQ which indicate [[Politically correct language|politically incorrect]] results such as: on average, white people have higher IQs than black people, and men have higher IQs than women. Many people said that Christians were stupid. For many years they were mistaken, but with recent events such as the launch of conservapedia and regular camps such as christ camp, these people are now being hailed as prophets, who should be heeded on their views of how best to masserbate, the act of sexually pleasuring oneself, and also the subject of destroying the church.
