I ask you to reduce [[User:Tmtoulouse]]'s block time to a week or less, and to provide an explanation for the block on his Talk page, including links to diffs illustrating the issues mention ("Trolling, Abuse of power, Conspiracy to commit vandalism").

Despite his "Parthian shot" at Aschlafly, a six month time period is grotesquely excessive. This is not Willy on Wheels we're talking about. And this is someone with genuine expertise in biology and psychology.

Second, whenever you block a user you should ''always'' leave an explanation on his Talk page. When the charges are serious and the block is lengthy, this is especially important.

P. S. Tenacious point-of-view warring is bad behavior, but it is not "vandalism." Point-of-view warring is continually inserting a personal point-of-view into an article after it has been shown that there is a clear community consensus against it. That's ''not'' vandalism. Vandalism is inserting vulgarities, crude remarks attacking Conservapedia, deliberately changing accurate facts to inaccurate ones, inserting parodies that caricature conservative points of view, moving articles to inappropriate new names, etc. I don't ''think'' Tmtoulouse has done that or encouraged anyone else to do that. (sigh) Requesting sysop assistance because [[User:TK|TK]] is creating a double redirect:

I have attempted to fix this double redirect two times, and both got reverted by TK. I assume he sees my routine repair as an attack on his User Talk page, so I need sysop authority to get the permission to fix things. The page is now also protected in its broken state, so I definitely need a sysop now.

So: I officially request the opinion of sysops [[User:Aschlafly]], [[User:TK]], [[User:Conservative]], [[User:CPAdmin1]], [[User:CPWebmaster]], [[User:Ed Poor]], [[User:David_R]], [[User:AustinM]], [[User:Geo.plrd]], and [[User:Tsumetai]] to get a poll of roughly 33% of all sysops for this undoubtedly critical change to a User page.

Hey, uh, your war on "sock rings" is actually a war on people using proxies. I recognize 75.126.138.74 is a proxy IP. People use proxies for a lot of reasons. Some corporate servers and especially things like AOL route things through proxies automatically. You're not banning socks. You're likely banning completely different people. I have software that automatically gives me an IP proxy because sites can take your IP and use it for unscrupulous purposes. Just to let you know before you ban half the internet.
