I am a user on Conservapedia. I am, in fact a liberal, and I would just like to point out that on the liberal page, a lot of the things that I read were in fact true. I am still a minor, so don't be too hard on me. After comming to Conservapedia, I have learned a lot however.

Basic View Of God
I think that God is absolutly awesome. However, I also think that I should not force God upon anyone in order to get them to convert. Ferthermore, I think that we use God as a concept to measure our pain. For example (here is a classic), praying to God before a test that we did not study for in hopes of doing well. Then, we simply do not pray to God again until the next test. That bugs me.

Basic View Of The Bible
It is a good book. It's a great read. However, I also think that things should be taken in there contextually. For instance, I belive in the theory of evolution because creationism believes that the earth has been around for 6,000 years. However, they have found fossils that are 3.5 billion years old of humans with ape-like characteristics.

Although I do believe that a lot of the things in the bible are true (such as Jesus being the savior of man (I am, after all, a Catholic)), I also think that it should be read contextually. This is what was tought in my theology class and in my biology class, we are learning about evolution.

Basic View Of The United States
Great place to live. I love this country (and I'm not just saying that because I know that I will get a lot of complaints that I am anti-American because I am a liberal). However, I think that there are problems with this country as well. For instance, we are currently fighting a war. However, a few years ago, Congress was talking about same-sex marrage. Now, I have no problem with couples of the same-sex getting married, however, there is a war going on, and, before we focus on red herrings such as that, we should focus on rebuilding the country we have destroyed and getting our troops home safely.

This is subject to change weekly. Please send your answer to me by email and, if I recieve it, I will send you back a conformaton email. Please mark the subject as "Question Of The Week Response". Also, please not only answer the question, but also, explain why you think that. This is your time to be creative, so please, do so. Speak the truth as well, because I do not know your name.

This week's question of the week is:

Are clothes really nessicery?

How To Send An Email
See the long column on the left. Keep going down until you get to that bottom subheading. Somewhere in there, it should say "Email this user". Click on that, and you should be able to email me. Remember, keep your answers as detailed as possible. If I like the response a lot, I might post it on this page.

Hi there,

I've been looking around here for a little while now, and just got an account. You seem to be head admin here, so I was wondering what this site was specifically about, and what I should do in my edits (I guess I figured it's a conservative encyclopedia). Thanks!
Please edit whatever you like. We have simple rules. I look forward to learning from your contributions. Welcome!--Aschlafly 10:20, 12 April 2008 (EDT)
Okay, sounds like I'll try looking around for something to edit. Thanks, TechnoRB 10:23, 12 April 2008 (EDT)

And thought I should mention that its rubbish. I got a ear bashing from Andy because he didnt think my edits were substansive. I explained to him but he deleted the comment and warned me a second time. Good luck!!!

What God Wants is a song on the Roger Waters album "Amused To Death. This song critisizes the church for being a hypocracy. It is split up into three parts, making the total time of the song to be 13 minutes and 48 seconds.

What God Wants, Part I
This part of the song appears second on the album, after "The Ballard Of Bill Hubbard" and before "Perfect Sense, Part I". This part tells us that the media has an effect on the person to the extent that the media choses what happens, even if that person does not agree. Roger Waters said about the first Gulf conflict, "'I'm very upset by religious dogma, I get angry, gobsmacked in fact when I hear George Bush saying that God was on their side during the Gulf war. It's amazing that in 1992, one of the most powerful men in the world can reduce political rhetoric to that level. But that's what he has to do, to get votes and maintain power and then use that power to help the American automobile industry." This song says that we as human beings do not care about that and just live with it.

What God Wants, Part II
This part of the song is the ninth song on the album, after "Too Much Rope" and before "What God Wants, Part III". This part, much like the first part, tells us that although God wants good, God also wants bad in the world. The song begins by hearing an evangelican priest preaching on television. The priest says the following:

"Do you believe in a better day<br />
Do you have faith in a golden way<br />
If you do then we must come together this day<br />
Come together as one united<br />
Television audience<br />
Brought together by the sound of my voice<br />
United united financially united socially<br />
United spiritually and all possible ways<br />
Through the power of money<br />
And the power of prayers"

The priest not only replaces the word church with "Television audience", but also replaces the word God with "Money" thereby suggesting that God is money. This shows that the priest is twisting the word of God to simply fit his own need. Then, the song says that although "God don't want small potatos", God also wants to associate It self with small towns that are filled with right-winged conservatives. The end of the song states that God wants for people not to find out what is really going on.

What God Wants, Part III
This is the final part of "What God Wants". It is the tenth song on the album, after "What God Wants, Part II" and before "Watching TV". This song has hope that someday, we (the human race) will be able to escape the influence of the media. It says towards the being of the song, <br />
"And in banks across the world<br />
Christians Moslems Hindus Jews<br />
And people of every<br />
Race creed colour tint or hue<br />
Get down on their knees and pray".

Although the media is pumping out propoganda, the line, "But the monkey's not watching" seems to say that humans can, hopefully, be able to overcome the influence of the mass media.

The Big Picture
In all three tracks, the Alien profit tells the monkey "Don't be suprised", like it was obvious. In a few instances, the animal does what he is told to do. However, the last time, the monkey simply writes down what is being said, not absourbing it.

Censorship
This song was banned from being on BBC 1 because of it's "Touchy" lyrics. Waters was angry.

Lengths
What God Wants, Part One-6 minutes, 0 seconds<br />
What God Wants, Part Two-3 minutes, 42 seconds<br />

The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, given the acronym "NICE", makes decisions on what medical procedures and treatments will be reimbursed in England and Wales. It is an official authority under the National Health Service.

England has a two-tiered medical system, whereby the government rations the care that it reimburses, and delays can be very long. There is another tier for citizens who purchase their own care with their own money. The NICE entity is in charge with limiting and rationing the government-reimbursed care.

In 1946 C.S. Lewis wrote a novel dentitled That Hideous Strength, in which the arch-evil organization had the same acronym of "NICE", short for the National Institute for Co-operative Experimentation. The coincidence is coincidental, given English-speakers' propensity for creating acronyms that correspond to existing common English words.
