The Real America
I feel that this article should be called The Americas. Most people in the United States refer to their country as "America". Since those people are going to be reading this encyclopedia the most, shouldn't the name by which we call our country lead to the article on our country? Besides, America can mean something different in the Spanish version of Conservapedia. Vossy 23:49, 9 March 2007 (EST)

A pair of continents in the Western Hemisphere. America really includes the entire North American continent, the entire South American continent, and the strip of land between them known as Central America. They cover over 8.3% of the Earth's total surface and constitute 28.4% of its total landmass. 14% of the human population lives in the Americas.

America was named after Richard ap Meurig (sometimes rendered ap Merik or Amerike), an important Bristol merchant and sponsor of the Cabots. The word "America" is often used to refer only to the United States of America.
