The Bauhaffffffffffffffffffffffffffffus school was founded by German fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffarchitect [[Walter Gropius]] in 1919. This design school was located in [[Weimar]], [[Germany]]. The goal of the school was to create simple, unornamented designs in all fields, from architecture to household furniture and graphic design. The school’s influenddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddssssssssssssffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffce is seen in many aspects of modern design. Interestingly enough, in the 1980's a progressive rock band formed and named itself Bauhaus. This music was later termed "Goth", even though Waffffffffffffffffffffffflter Gropius had nothssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssing to do with the Gothic culture of the 3rd and 4th century A.D.
