If someone could show me how to use mathematical symbols on Conservapedia, I would be glad to correct this article. L'Hopital's Rule is in fact a rule for calculating the limit of the quotient of two functions when such a limit appears to approach an indeterminate form (such as 0/0, infinity/infinity, etc.). This problem is addressed by taking the limit of the quotient of the derivatives of the two functions. The following is a posting that I made on Talk:Barack Obama several months ago, but that never sparked any discussion. I was hoping the theory might encourage more reactions if I made it into a debate page.

"I know it is a popular view on this site that Obama is a Muslim, but has anyone considered the possibility that his apparent lack of religious devotion indicates instead that he is an atheist? In an article about Obama on mensvogue.com, it is noted that "Though Obama had long been skeptical of organized religion, he gradually came to embrace it "as a choice, not an epiphany." It is frequently observed on Conservapedia that his claims of religious activity may be self-serving; could they not be an attempt to hide his atheism instead of his Islamic beliefs? After all, Ron Reagan, Jr. once remarked that nobody ever elects atheists.

In addition, Conservapedia has also pointed out on numerous occasions that atheists are strongly inclined to dislike America. Is it also not possible that Obama's pro-Islamic behavior is not a series of Freudian slips, but rather a manifestation of his liberal dislike for America?"

Much has been made of the fact that Obama retook his Oath of Office without a Bible, and a number of Conservapedians have speculated that he actually used a Qu'ran. I think it seems apparent that he doesn't have much faith, or (if he does) considers himself more of a "humanist" than anything. It's not uncommon for political leaders to adopt a religious belief in order to become elected. Atheists will vote for a religious person, but religious parties will not vote for an atheist. Hi, Economist. I just wanted to further TK's comments about the math markup. For most simple things (e.g. numbers, subscripts, superscripts), you don't need math markup, just regular HTML (there are buttons for these in the edit bar). For more complicated things, or things like Greek letters, you need to enter math mode using <nowiki><math></nowiki> and exit it using <nowiki></math></nowiki>. Many LaTeX commands are straightforward to guess: Greek letters are \nameofletter, for example \kappa, \delta, or \Delta, which give <math>\kappa, \delta, or \Delta</math>. The commands are case sensitive as you can see. Other things you might want are:

* \frac{num}{denom} which yields <math>\frac{num}{denom}</math>.

==Marginal productivity theory under imperfect competition==

In a perfectly competitive market, the marginal revenue product of a factor of production is equal to its marginal physical product (the additional quantity produced by employing that factor) times its price. Because firms under [[perfect competition]] are [[price takers]], price will stay constant and MRP will be determined solely by changes in MPP.

Under [[imperfect competition]], however, MRP will diminish more rapidly, as firms will have to lower prices in order to sell a greater quantity of goods or services. Whereas perfectly competitive firms face a horizontal [[demand curve]], oligopolies face a [[kinked demand curve]], and monopolies a downward-sloping one.

There are various exceptions to marginal productivity theory, particularly in the case of labor markets. I've found that that the problem is a lack of <nowiki><noinclude></noinclude></nowiki> tags around the category. Hello my fellow freshman sysop, HelpJazz was not a vandal. He was in fact a moderate and through no fault of his own, was the target of a parodist plot by a vandal website.
