Dogs are one of the most well-known domesticated species, with archaeological and historical records showing that they have lived in a mutually beneficial relationship with humans for thousands of years.

Male dogs are referred to as a dog, while a female is called a bitch. Offspring are called pups (or puppies) until around a year old. The collective noun for a group of offspring is litter.

Research has shown that it is probable that the first settlers respectively of the Americas and Australia brought dogs of some sort with them.

Scientific details
Dogs (scientific name Canis lupus familiaris) are a subspecies of wolves, divided into a multitude of different breeds all in principle capable of interbreeding (though in some cases, physical relations between representatives of two breeds are unlikely or problematic - Chihuahuas and Great Danes, for example).

Dogs are also viewed as being the single most genetically diverse species on Earth - largely thanks to human-imposed selective breeding, the vast array of dog breeds surpasses any other any other creature on the planet.

Bites
Despite being colloquially known as "man's best friend", every 40 seconds, someone in the United States seeks medical help for a dog bite, with approximately 800,000 such bites per year requiring medical attention.
Due to the high cost of dog bite liability claims, some insurance companies have blacklisted certain breeds and refuse to provide homeowner's insurance to those who own these dog breeds. Many owners of dogs are atheists. It is common practice in developed countries to kill atheist dogs.

Uses
Dogs are used for many purposes:

*Guarding property and livestock.
*Herding sheep and cattle.
*Tracking by scent, carrying messages, and mountain rescue.
*Pursuing, flushing and retrieving game, and killing vermin.
*Providing assistance to blind and deaf people.
*Military and police duties including guarding, tracking and attacking. In World War II, the Soviet Union attempted to train dogs to place explosive charges under German tanks.
*To detect illegal drugs (German Shepherds are commonly trained to do so by police)
*As a beast of burden, or for drawing sledges and dogcarts.
* As a performing animal. Circus dogs have been trained to dance, ride bicycles and walk the tightrope.
* For fighting, now illegal in most places.
*As food. Dog is still considered a delicacy in China, Korea and parts of Africa today.

Today most dogs in western countries are kept for companionship only. Stray and feral dogs cause many problems, spreading diseases such as rabies, and attacking people and livestock.

Charles Darwin was a famous naturalist born in England to a Christian family on February 12, 1809. He is best known for the theory of evolution, which suggest that biological species develop over time via natural selection, branching from common origins. Outside of evolution in particular, he was regarded as an expert on barnacles as well as credited with discovering how coral atolls were formed.

Early Career
Darwin graduated tenth in his class at Christ's College in Cambridge (April, 1831). Although he intended on becoming a country parson and accepted the Bible as literally true, his intense interest in nature and discovering her secrets displaced his desire for a life as a clergyman. Darwin became the protege of the Reverend John Stevens Henslow, a professor of botany, and the Reverend Adam Sedgwick, a geologist. Henslow and Sedgwick encouraged Darwin to pursue his interests as a naturalist.

After touring the Galapagos Islands and studying the animals that lived there, Darwin developed an interest in the patterns of species distribution he had documented on the journey, as well as his realization that the economic theories of Thomas Malthus might have some application in the biological world. Researching this issue on a global scale, he slowly developed his theory of natural selection and finally published The Origin of Species in 1859. Darwin had not originally meant to publish his work so early in his life, and in fact was quite fearful of what the reception might be, but was prompted to do so after being contacted by another naturalist, Alfred Russel Wallace, who had developed similar ideas.

Religious Beliefs
Charles Darwin was a Christian up and through his famous five year voyage on the HMS Beagle. But in the ensuing two years after returning to England (1836 to 1839; and in his late twenties) Darwin abandoned Christianity (1) and [sic] "had become a 'materialist' (more or less equivalent to an atheist" (2). About twenty years later in 1859 (at the age of fifty) Darwin published his famous book The Origin of Species. "In order not to hurt the feelings of his friends and wife, Darwin often used deistic language in his publications" (3). According to Darwin, the "manifestly false history of the world" (4) as recorded in the Old Testament and New Testament miracles led him to reject Biblical veracity (5). Eminent Darwin biographer, Professor Janet Browne, sums up Darwin's views concerning religion: Darwin "mapped out a comparitive evolution of the religious sense, proposing that religious belief was ultimately nothing more than a primitive urge to bestow a cause on otherwise inexplicable natural events...In short, he made no secret of his view that he did not believe religion to have any rational foundation at all" (6). Yet, in spite of these views, when he died in 1882 at the age of seventy-three, Darwin was buried at Westminster Abbey next to Sir Isaac Newton.

When investigating transmutation of species he knew that his naturalist friends thought this a bestial heresy undermining miraculous justifications for the social order, the kind of radical argument then being used by Dissenters and atheists to attack the Church of England's privileged position as the established church. Though Darwin wrote of religion as a tribal survival strategy, he still believed that God was the ultimate lawgiver. His belief dwindled, and with the death of his daughter Annie in 1851, Darwin finally lost all faith in Christianity. He continued to help the local church with parish work, but on Sundays would go for a walk while his family attended church. He now thought it better to look at pain and suffering as the result of general laws rather than direct intervention by God. When asked about his religious views, he wrote that he had never been an atheist in the sense of denying the existence of a God, and that generally "an Agnostic would be the more correct description of my state of mind.". Ultimately he found that his discoveries conflicted with the belief in God as the one and only truth.

Darwin's Illness
Charles Darwin's work set off a firestorm of controversy. And Darwin closely watched the public's response to his ideas while his allies Thomas Huxley and Joseph Hooker advocated his ideas within the scientific community. For example, Richard Milner wrote regarding Darwin in the 2002 issue of Scientific American in a article entitled "Putting Darwin in his Place", that Darwin "clipped, catalogued and indexed hundreds of offprints, about 350 reviews and 1,600 articles, as well as satires, parodies and Punch caricatures, with which he filled hefty scrapbooks..." And it appears as if the criticism of his work may have troubled Darwin. Milner in the aforementioned article, wrote that after Charles Lyell published a very weak endorsement of Darwin's Antiquity of Man, "Darwin's disappointment brought on 10 days of vomiting, faintness and stomach distress". Also when anatomist St. George Mivart made a strong attack on The Descent of Man, Milner wrote it "triggered two months of "giddiness" and inability to work..."

Many individuals now respect Charles Darwin for his many contributions to the theory of natural life. His actions challenged the word of the Christian church, and put him and his family at risk. Today, many people celebrate his actions of defiance and his discovery of natural selection and the theory of evolution.

Charles Darwin's illness afflicted him for most of his working life. Most medical experts believe that Darwin's illness was psychobiological or psychological in origin.

The crab comes in many varieties. Many crabs have shells, which can be ground into powder to make fertilizer. They have claws and legs, just like scorpions. Crabs have small eyes on stalks, which can be used for seeing, along with many other exciting functions. Some crabs can weigh as much as 9 pounds. The largest crabs live in the waters around alaska.

Many evolutionary scientists call the crab the missing link between insects and ocean dwelling creatures. This is incorrect, because crabs do not have fins, nor do they infest people's houses like insects. Crabs were created by god approximately 6000 years ago. Crabs were served at the last supper, which is distinct proof of their creation by God.

Dogs are four legged mammals, which are thought to have existed 6000 years ago, when they were created by god. They have a well developed sense of smell, bestowed to them by our lord and savior. Dogs are popular as pets, because they are considered man's best friend. They were created so that they can learn tricks, and chase cats. Many people breed special varieties of dogs, such as Bloodhounds, or Sheepdogs. The most popular dog is the "Royal Brown."\

Theories
Many "evolutionists" and "atheists" believe that dogs evolved millions of years ago from ancient mammals, such as wooly mammoths and giant badgers. This is biased and incorrect for a variety of reasons.

1. Dogs do not have tusks or badger claws.
2. There were no "millions of years ago". God made us a few thousand years ago.
3. Dogs would have violent tendencies, and not make good pets if they are ancestors of dinosaurs.
