CharlesLaton: bar was called "CBGS's" not CBGB

Punk music, or punk rock, originated in a club called CBGB's in New York City in the mid-1970s with Television and The Ramones followed by the still popular The Dead Kennedys. It was seen as a response to the cultural sterility of progressive rock and other highly commercialized forms of rock. Although punk had limited popularity in America, it quickly spread to the UK where bands such as The Sex Pistols, Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Clash became massively popular.

Musicality
Punk is charactarised by up-tempo arrangements, and seldom employs instruments other than guitar, bass, and drums. By design, the songs are usually structured to be very simplistic, with the 1-4-5 chord progression being typical. The lyrics, which are almost always written in a 1-1, 2-2 rhyme scheme, can be concerned with any topic, but usually deal with some aspect of youth culture or express some theme of "punk attitude" such as opposition to authority.

Dancing
Various methods of dancing to punk rock have emerged, such as skanking, pogo-ing, and slam dancing. Most punk-style dancing is synasthetically expressive of an emotion, rather than a particular representational style, such as a jitterbug. Dancing tends to be individual or communal, seldom couples-oriented.

Punk Culture
Punks typically distinguish themselves from others with their unmistakable appearances. This has included things such as Mohawk hairstyles, tight pants, studded leather jackets, bullet belts, combat boots, etc. Clothing and hairstyles vary widely throughout the punk scene, and often particular outfits denote particular strains of punk or core-beliefs. Most true punks however will claim that the punk subculture is more based on the idea of non-conformity.

Subgenres of punk
As punk-rock grew in popularity, several subgenres became apparent, some of which represent very fine distinctions (such as anarcho-punk), or small (Muslim punk) or localized (Nardcore) groupings. Some subgeneric names are probably useful, however, or at least well-known. Hardcore punk, usually characterized by fast tempos and a stripped-down/minimalist sound was a staple of West Coast punk during the 1980's, especially in the important Southern California-region and has since spread throughout the world. New Wave, despite being descended of punk, developed its own distinctive sounds and subculture respectively. Forms such as Grunge and Emotive-Hardcore(both descended of the Post-Hardcore punk movement) each developed largely into their own subcultures respectively in their own right.Among the many punk subgenres, real or imagined, are:
The Cable News Network (CNN) is a liberal, secular 24-hour cable news channel in the United States. First started in 1980 by liberal Ted Turner, it is a division of the Turner Broadcasting System, which is owned by TimeWarner.

From its origin as a cable-only service, CNN now broadcasts worldwide by satellite, with programs presented from studios in several countries in addition to their headquarters in Atlanta. Some regions receive locally produced opt-outs (under the name "CNN International"), and there are also broadcasts in Spanish, German, Italian, Croatian,Japanese, Turkish and Gaelic.

Where Fox News has succeeded, CNN has watched the steady fall in ratings.

History
CNN is owned by leftist media mogul Ted Turner and made its debut in 1980 as the first US 24-hour news network.
During its early years it struggled to achieve the success and credibility of older news agencies, such as the BBC. However it achieved a great deal of recognition during its coverage of the first Gulf War during which it was the only news agency reporting during the initial night of the war. These events led to a movie, Live from Baghdad, which portrays the events. In September 2010, head of its U.S. network Jon Klein was fired.
Well Known Bias
Conservative media critics rightly accuse CNN of promoting the liberal agenda with slant reporting, mock and insult members of the Tea Party Movement.
Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden (Arabic: أسامة بن محمد بن عوض بن لادن‎, Usāmah bin Muḥammad bin ‘Awaḍ bin Lādin; (born March 10, 1957 - d. April 24, 2011.), commonly known as, Osama bin Laden (Arabic: أسامة بن لادن), was a radical Sunni Muslim, and the leader of al Qaeda, a worldwide terrorist group responsible for the September 11, 2001 attacks, terrorist attacks on Americans in the 1990s, and other attacks on innocent civilians in Europe and Asia.

Bin Laden was an Arab from a Yemeni family that made a fortune in construction in Saudi Arabia. His family disowned bin Ladin in 1994 and the Saudi Arabian government revoked both his passport and citizenship. He went to Afghanistan with his network of Arab allies to fight against the Soviets in the Soviet-Afghan War. He was never aided or funded by the U.S. or the CIA.

In bin Laden's declarations and writings, he asserts that American attacks against Muslims justify reciprocation by Muslims, including the killing of innocents as a part of militaristic jihad. He refers to Islamic states headed by individuals friendly to the United States as usurper states which are disloyal to Islam.

Bin Laden and his followers were based in war-torn Sudan for most of the 1990s at the invitation of Hassan al-Turabi, a powerful Sudanese political leader and terrorism supporter. In the late 1990s bin Laden issued two fatahs (declarations of holy war) against the United States for the basing of troops in the Arabian Peninsula to defend against external aggression by Saddam Hussein and because of the suffering of the Iraqi people under UN economic sanctions.

In 1998, bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri, then leader of the Egyptian terrorist group called the Islamic Brotherhood, announced the joining of al Qaeda and the Islamic Brotherhood to form the World Islamic Front for the Jihad Against Jews and Crusaders. In 1998, the United States embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were destroyed by suicide bombers; the United States later indicted both bin Laden and al-Zawahiri for the attacks which killed 224 people. In retaliation the United States launched cruise missiles, however, both terrorist leaders escaped. They then fled to Afghanistan, where al Qaeda set up camps that were protected by the Taliban government. When the Taliban refused to turn al Qaeda terrorists over to justice, NATO invaded and liberated Afghanistan in Oct. 2001. He was almost captured but escaped to Pakistan, where local warlords continued to harbor him. Occasionally he released a recording giving new threats.

In the 1990s, bin Laden also gave funding to Chechen terrorists fighting against Russia. These terrorists were later responsible for the Beslan school siege of 2004. Chechens also fought in Afghanistan against U.S. forces on behalf of the Taliban.

Bin Laden was cited by the United States government as the most wanted terrorist.

Bin Laden was allegedly killed in a mansion outside Abbottabad, a highland town 50 km. north of Islamabad, capital of Pakistan. According to MSM news reports, facial recognition as well as DNA evidence, which was analyzed in a speedy fashion, confirmed the identity of the man killed as Bin Laden. Reports also stated that one of his wives who was captured in the raid identified the body as well. Three men besides Bin Laden and a woman were killed during the 40-minute raid. Osama was later buried at sea, less than a day after his death; a burial at sea leaves no marked grave and no evidence of Bin Laden's killing (no definitive location and no further proves). Several pundits have pointed out that this would prevent Islamic extremists from creating a shrine of his gravesite.

No pictures have been shown of the military operation, no witnesses, no news media inside the Pakistani compound in the aftermath, no burial to the other bodies, are leaving many doubts.

<blockquote>
But for Stella Olender of Chicago, her questions aren’t politically-motivated conspiracy theories, but rather the still-fresh wounds of losing a daughter, 39-year-old Christine, who died at the World Trade Center in the Sept. 11 attacks.
“Is it true or false? I don’t know,” Olender said in a phone interview while working at her tailoring and cleaning business in the city’s Hanson Park neighborhood.
Olender said she’s particularly concerned because U.S. officials have said bin Laden’s body was buried at sea but haven’t offered any photographic proof that he was killed.
“To me, that seems strange, that they disposed of it and no one (besides) whoever was right there knows what happened, if it’s true or false, you know?” Olender said.
