CarlosMartinez: /* Liberal? */ yes it does.

Hi, sorry if my edits were along the wrong lines. Advice for future contributions please? Sophierabbitte 11:34, 10 January 2011 (EST)
:I also am confused why they were removed. I was homeschooled myself and am glad I was by my mother. Carlos

Response to both above: everything in this entry should be limited to well-support facts, without any opinion. Thanks.--Andy Schlafly 12:00, 10 January 2011 (EST)

OK, understood. But I thought that I referenced the leaked Dept. of Homeland Security report? (I know I referenced the Huffington Post - had to hold my nose while doing so!)Sophierabbitte 12:06, 10 January 2011 (EST)

Liberal?
Why does everyone claim he is a hard core Liberal? Other books he likes include Ayn Rand's first novel We the People and Hitler's Mein Kampf. He also wants a return to the gold exchange, a Libertarian point of view and he even claimed in one of his video's "don't accept federalist laws".

Sign your name please. And also, if you look at Hitler's entry here, you will see that Hitler founded the Nazi party on a largely socialist platform. Sophierabbitte 11:56, 10 January 2011 (EST)
:Yes, it is well known Hitler had many liberal viewpoints himself. CarlosMartinez 11:58, 10 January 2011 (EST)

:A lot of liberals don't accept federalist laws; a lot of liberals got to have that joint before breakfast; a lot of liberals fail to understand that their liberalism has its roots in Fascism and National Socialism; and I'm sure there's some liberals who want the return to the gold standard simply to get their hands on the taxes that go with it. And there are some liberals - even those who come here - who are attempting to play down Loughner's liberalism to the point where he should be treated as just another victim of society. The blame Bush/Palin game is going on right now, courtesy of the liberal left. Karajou 11:59, 10 January 2011 (EST)

Karajou, modern liberalism does not have its foundations in Fascism and Nazism, that is a blatant lie with absolutely no logical evidence or merit, and you are only comparing an ideology you don't agree with to the most destructive, hateful and right wing ideology to grace the face of the planet. I never once attempted to downplay a murderer's ideology, I hope he rots in jail, but with the murder of a federal judge and a little girl he'll most likely be put to death. On the gold standard, the government won't just tax random gold, the money supply and value is based off that of gold. Libertarians love it because it takes power away from central and federal banks. -AdmiralDolphin
:Admiral, please open your mind and avoid liberal style. Yes it does and you can read all about it on Conservapedia. CarlosMartinez 12:27, 10 January 2011 (EST)

Cat

Cats are a group of carnivorous mammals with sharp teeth and retractable claws (except in the case of the cheetah) on their paws, originally distributed worldwide apart from Australasia, Madagascar and Antarctica. Several of the larger kinds of cat can be dangerous to humans.

The domestic cat, believed to derive from the African wildcat, has been used to control vermin or kept as a pet for thousands of years, and worshiped as a god by the ancient Egyptians, amongst others. Today, the domestic cat, sometimes affectionately known as a kitty, remains extremely popular as a pet; there are an estimated 76 million pet cats in the United States.

Species of cat include the lion, tiger, leopard, cheetah, jaguar, puma, cougar, ocelot, lynx, caracal, serval and many smaller breeds.

Common lineage
There is some disagreement about whether cats form on common baramin or if they come in two distinct kinds. While there are a good deal of characteristics in common all small cats share a second set of vocal cords which allow them to purr, the only large cat with this characteristic is the cougar.

Feral Cats
A feral cat is a direct descendant of a domestic cat but is untamed and generally frightened of any human contact. A feral cat is usually one that has returned to the wild, foraging for food and living in areas with open space. This is usually as a result of someone abandoning a cat (or cats), some of which are able to survive in the wild and breed, which leads to the establishment of a colony of feral cats. Such colonies usually exist for social and mutual protection purposes, but individual cats within each colony are expected to find their own food.

The life of a feral cat is usually difficult, and many do not survive for very long, due to various factors such as having to catch their own food, inadequate shelter from the elements, encounters with other animals (skunk, raccoon, etc) or dogs or other feral cats, dangers from vehicles on roadways, and not receiving medical treatment for illnessess or injuries. Cats as domesticated animals (pets) on average are afforded better care and thus have a better quality of life and longer life spans.

A stray cat is a cat that is unowned, but generally accepts human touch, may take food directly from a human, etc. The terms are often interchangeable, especially in popular usage.

Cats and liberalism
Liberals, specifically the Democrat Party and Barack Obama are known to be elitist and the personality of a cat is very much at odds of the fun-loving dog many owners enjoy having. Cats, like liberals, are often pretentious, unloving, cold and many times bitter even to their owners. It is therefore, no surprise that many liberals own cats.

Jared Loughner is a 22-year-old atheistic liberal, described by former public school classmates as a "pothead" likely on hallucinogenic drugs, who is being formally charged with a shooting spree that left 6 dead and 14 injured, including a congresswoman, on January 8, 2011.

Loughner publicly listed The Communist Manifesto as one of his favorite books.

Loughner failed a urine drug test when he applied to join the U.S. Army, and was rejected for that reason. But as of January 10, 2011, there has been no release of any drug tests performed on Loughner following the shooting. Arizona recently passed a law legalizing medical marijuana.

A leaked document from the Department of Homeland Security suggests that Loughner may have ties to anti-Semitic, anti-immigration hate group American Renaissance. Shockingly, the ultra-liberal "news" website Huffington Post reported this fact.

Gabrielle Giffords (born June 8, 1970 in Tucson, Arizona) currently serves as the Democratic U.S. Representative from Arizona's 8th congressional district, having been first elected in 2006. She is a member of the Armed Services Committee, Foreign Affairs Committee, and the Science and Technology Committee.

On January 8, 2011, she was shot along with at least 17 others by a gunman while holding a public event outside of a grocery store in Tucson. U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona will survive being shot in the head by a man who opened fire at her community meeting in Tucson, killing six people including a federal judge. Reports are confirming that an aide to the congresswoman and a federal judge, John Roll were killed in the attack.

Latino Daniel Hernandez, Gabrielle Giffords' new 5-day intern may have saved her. Many are praising the actions of Hernandez, who was standing near Giffords when she was shot in the head. He had only been her intern for five days, but rushed to her side when she went down, held her head in his lap and applied consistent pressure to the wound. He is a junior at the University of Arizona and he also advised others what to do with the other wounded people while they waited for help to arrive, according to MSNBC.
Hernandez had taken some first aid courses in high school but he is being hailed as heroic for his actions on Saturday.

The way that she was communicating was by grabbing my hand," Hernandez says. "I would ask her a question and she would squeeze my hand in a way to acknowledge that she was still conscious and awake and still able to hear what I was saying."

Using his hand, Hernandez applied pressure to the entry wound on her forehead. He pulled her into his lap, holding her upright against him so she wouldn’t choke on her own blood. Giffords was conscious, but quiet. The fact that Hernandez was nearby and able to react quickly probably saved Giffords’ life, said state Rep. Matt Heinz, D-Tucson, and a hospital physician.
