The '''Rugby Football Union''' (RFU) is the governing body of [[Rugby]] Football in [[England]]. Founded in 1871 the RFU provided the original laws of the game. In 1907 the RFU purchased a parcel of land at [[Twickenham ]] to build the first rugby only [[stadium]]. Twickenham was recently rebuilt and now accommodates 75,000 spectators and is situated on 35 acres of land.
