'''Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch''' (approximate pronunciation ''Clan-vire-pooll-guin-gill-go-ger-u-queern-drob-ooll-clandus-ilio-gogo-goch''), also known as '''Llanfair''' or '''LLanfair P.G''', is a village on the [[Wales|Welsh]] island of [[Anglesey]]. Its name means "the church of St Mary in the hollow of the white hazels, close to the wild whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave".
The village is renowned for the length of its name which is the main attraction for tourists who can purchase over sized train tickets and other memorabilia from the railway station. The station sign is probably the most photographed item in the whole village.
