Alexander Hamilton

Federalist No. 72, authored by Alexander Hamilton under the pen name Publius, is the seventy second of 85 essays. Titled "The Same Subject Continued, and Re-Eligibility of the Executive Considered", Hamilton explains why term limits for the presidency were not put in place.

It was published on March 19, 1788.
