Essay: RationalMedia Foundation/RW Foundation utterly failed the progressive equity litmus test (How they treat Blacks)
It's a cold hard fact that societies favor some groups over others. For example, compare the attention given to Mother's Day compared to the attention given to Father's Day. Mother's Day wins hands down!
In the world today, as can be seen below, atheists are the most distrusted group from a global perspective (see: Distrust of atheists and Views on atheists). Concerning distrust of atheists, sociological research indicates that atheists are widely distrusted in both religious cultures and nonreligious cultures.[1][2][3][4] According to a study published in the International Journal for The Psychology of Religion: "anti-atheist prejudice is not confined either to dominantly religious countries or to religious individuals, but rather appears to be a robust judgment about atheists."[3] The study found that many atheists do not trust other atheists as well.[3]
On the other hand, atheist Tom Krattenmaker was quoted in Time magazine as saying about American atheists, "Even though we’re despised in some parts of the country and discriminated against in some ways, we don’t really get bullied or picked on. That makes it harder to gain sympathy for our views."[5] (See also: Closet atheist). In Islamic countries, atheists face considerable more persecution than in the Western World (see: Persecution of atheists and Atheism vs. Islam).
Also, atheists have brutally persecuted and killed a great many religious people and those who they disagreed with politically (see: Militant atheism and Atheism and human rights violations and Atheism and mass murder).
Blacks who suffered through the African slave trade from the 16th to the 19th centuries. And they have faced discrimination in 20th century and beyond, but things are improving over time in many countries (legislation; intermarriage; integration into the military, education, workplaces, etc.).
So in recent centuries, Blacks have faced more discrimination and persecuation than many groups.
Jesus said, "And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’" (Matthew 25:40). Keep this Bible verse in mind as you read on.

RationalWiki (RW) is a politically progressive/left leaning website that skews towards atheism/agnosticism in terms of its worldview.
The RationalWiki Foundation (RWF), rename to the RationalMedia Foundation (RMF) pending, owns and operates the RationalWiki.org website.[6]
In 2021, RationalWiki did not have a single Black candidate running to be on the board of trustees for the RationalWiki/RationalMedia Foundation. To Conservapedians' knowledge, the RationalWiki Foundation has never had a Black editor on the RWF's board of trustees.
The shabby way RationalWiki treats Blacks is a disgrace and hypocrisy to the utmost degree

As noted above, Jesus said, "And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’" (Matthew 25:40).
Although progressivism/leftism deviate from Christianity in many ways, they do borrow the concept of making efforts to help the most vulnerable/needy in society (However, many times instead of offering a helping hand, they create dependency due to not making people accountable).
So based on progressivism, RationalWiki should be bending over backwards for Blacks since they have suffered hundreds of years of discrimination and enslavement. RationalWiki should be doing outreach to Blacks and doing charitable outreaches to Blacks since many atheists in the West earn more than many Blacks. The Pew Research Forum reported in 2013 concerning American atheists: "About four-in-ten atheists (43%) have a college degree, compared with 29% of the general public."[7] In 2012, the Pew Research Forum reported regarding American atheists: "And about 38% of atheists and agnostics have an annual family income of at least $75,000, compared with 29% of the general public."[8]
Are RationalWikians, who are progressives, bending over backwards to help Blacks? Absolutely not! The proof is in the pudding. RationalWiki has no Blacks on its board of trustees. And sadly, atheists have a well-deserved reputation for being uncharitable (see: Atheism and charity).
The shabby way RationalWiki treats Blacks is a disgrace and hypocrisy to the utmost degree. Shame, RationalWikians! Shame!
The Barna Group found that even when church-based giving is subtracted from the equation, active-faith adults donated twice as many dollars last year as did atheists and agnostics.[9]

Western atheists have not done a significant amount of outreach to poor countries
Doing overseas evangelism and relief outreaches to third-world countries, often requires significant hardships/persecution and Western atheists have been unwilling to endure such hardships in order to spread atheistic ideology (see: Atheism and hedonism).

The atheist population in the Western World has not had significant outreaches to spread atheism outside the Western World nor have atheist organizations done a significant amount of relief efforts to poor countries.
Doing overseas evangelism/outreaches often requires significant hardships/persecution and Western atheists have been unwilling to endure such hardships in order to spread atheistic ideology (see: Atheism and hedonism).
Historically, Christians have made great evangelism efforts to reach every people group across the earth. They have also engaged in a lot of Christian relief work to help lessen poverty. In 2005, there were four times as many non-Western World Christians as there were Western World Christians.[10]
The current atheist population mostly resides in East Asia (particularly China) and in secular Europe/Australia among whites.[11] See: Global atheism
Translation of Darwin's Origin of the Species vs. the Bible
Since World War II a majority of the most prominent and vocal defenders of the evolutionary position which employs methodological naturalism have been atheists and agnostics (see also: Causes of evolutionary belief).[12] Charles Darwin's evolutionary book The Origin of the Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life has been translated into 35 languages.[13]
The Bible has been translated into 518 languages and 2,798 languages have at least some portion of the Bible.[14]
