John Podhoretz

John Podhorertz (born April 18, 1961), the son of Norman Podhoretz and Midge Rosenthal, is a U. S. neoconservative commentator on media sources and was a speechwriter for former presidents Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush. He has written several books on politics.

Podhoretz grew up in the upper west side of New York City. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago in 1982. His first marriage in 1997 was nullified after three months. He is married to Ayala Cohen, who is a co-producer for Saturday Night Live. They have two daughters.
