User talk:GregG/Formal complaint about User:Conservative

A possible source for you: Talk:Atheism_and_obesity Best of luck. SharonW 17:50, 30 June 2012 (EDT)
- Thank you for your wishes and contribution. GregG 17:53, 30 June 2012 (EDT)
Just wanted to add my well-wishes to SharonW's. I know it's been almost a year since you wrote this, so it seems unlikely anything will come of it, but I think you've made several very valid points about a pattern of behavior which is not only still occurring, but also extremely damaging to this site. I found a copy on the internet archive. Until an administrator is kind enough to restore the deleted version, this is what's here. brenden 01:19, 21 April 2013 (EDT)
- Thank you very much for your effort. I uploaded a copy of the original source from my hard drive. GregG 20:56, 21 April 2013 (EDT)
- NP. Can I also suggest adding to the list User:C's incredibly annoying, and frankly ridiculous tactic of unilaterally deleting pages that do not portray him in a positive light.
Addendum: If you're interested
I would like to offer this recent experience I had with Conservative if you wanted to add it to your complaint:
Conservative, a favor please...
- Essay: Atheist holidays filled with goodwill, charitableness and good cheer
- Essay: Great and inspiring art by atheists on atheism
- Essay: New York Times web traffic according to Alexa, 4-30-12
- Essay: The meat grinder of atheism and evolutionism
The above pages are all yours and currently stuck on the Dead-end page list because they are protected. When you get a chance, could you please add a wikilink in each of them to help me get them off of there? It would be much appreciated. Thanks, Fnarrow 16:22, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
- No. I have other priorities. Sorry, but I will not accommodate this request. Conservative 16:55, April 2013 (EDT)
- I'd ask you to reconsider your position: it should take you less time and less effort to add a wikilink to these pages than User:Fnarrow to construct the list and to link to the pages! You could do it when you can't find sleep at night. User:Fnarrow invested much time in the project to clean up Special:DeadendPages, helping Conservapedia to look more professional. You should support this IMO. --AugustO 17:06, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
Thank you for your support AugustO. Conservative, I also implore you to reconsider as sure you can see that I'm trying to do what is best for th site as a whole. Should you choose to give up a few seconds to assist me in this, I'd also ask that you please delete the following page:
It is also protected by you and is nothing more than a broken redirect. Thank you, Fnarrow 17:29, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
The interaction was concluded when Conservative deleted the whole conversation with and edit comment of "NO!" as can be witnessed in the "recent changes page. I know that at least most of the editors on this site want nothing more than to see it succeed, but actions like those repeatedly exhibited by Conservative show that not everyone feels that way. I will be posting this same example on Aschlafly's talk page, but i wish you the best of luck with your complaint. Fnarrow 18:27, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
- Thank you for your contribution. If I feel the need to update the complaint with additional occurrences since last June, I will do so and certainly take your comments into consideration. I do personally think User:Conservative's response was rude and inappropriate for an administrator. GregG 18:31, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
Flogging a dead horse it seems
I have no problem with User:Conservatives views, I even agree with some of them and do enjoy banter with him and I am sure he enjoys it also. However I have been called a Liberal which is untrue but he does have point, I am more Centre-Right than far right. A Darwinist, which is sort of true as, bizarre as it may sound I believe in both creationism and evolution, but this is always thrown as an insult. I have been called an Atheist which is untrue, I am a church going Christian and although I can't find the source I "believe" it was Andy himself who posted that Christian denominations should not be insulted. And it has been implied I am a Whore-monger. Now this is down right insulting, even verging on slander and this should not be tolerated. I do think that any complaint will fall on deaf ears though. I suggest we ignore his rants until he learns how to respect others and be civil.--Patmac 22:08, 15 May 2013 (EDT)--Patmac 22:03, 15 May 2013 (EDT)
Off topic, but I just found this posted by Conservative. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/andrewbrown/2008/dec/19/religion-iq-atheism Guess I am the smartest biscuit in the barrel then :)--Patmac 22:22, 15 May 2013 (EDT)
