Be careful about the 90/10 rule. If you just came here to debate, you may as well leave now. --Ed Poor Talk 17:24, 22 December 2009 (EST)

90/10
As far as I can tell, all you've done it talk, talk, talk, and make copyedits. Contribute constructively and substantively, and avoid bickering. JacobB 16:15, 27 January 2010 (EST)
- Jacob, I'm trying to help in minor but useful ways, particularly with the Conservative Bible Project. When I use the Talk pages to suggest things there or explain why I made the recommendations I do, I'm told that it's too much Talk, Talk Talk. When I make direct edits that seem clearly in line with the project guidelines, I'm told I should have gone through the talk pages first. Andy has made multiple endorsements of my contributions to date, but I feel like I'm always stepping on landmines since joining. It's starting to get really frustrating, but I'll hang in for now and try to avoid controversy. --ChrisY 16:35, 27 January 2010 (EST)
An apology
I was perhaps a little annoyed over our exchanges re: Luke, and your 90/10 violations, so when I saw your description of the news story I immediately assumed you meant that our other news stories were poorly thought out, and not things that were bad for the world, as I now understand you meant.
In the future, I will try to avoid letting my annoyance with a user cloud my judgment regarding their edits. JacobB 17:48, 27 January 2010 (EST)
- Thank you, and I will work on editing more and raising issues less. --ChrisY 17:53, 27 January 2010 (EST)
