You changed the text to say that Cantonese is not a dialect of Chinese. You were implying that the previous version said that it was. It did not. It said clearly that it was a different language. You are mixing concepts. French and Spanish are not dialects of Latin, but they do come from that language historically. Please learn the linguistic difference between dialect and historical origins before pushing your POV. -Foxtrot 10:14, 8 April 2009 (EDT)
