Hi. I have a coworker who is a Socialist. He quoted to me Psalm 9:18 as his supposed proof that the Bible endorses Socialism: "For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever." He says the "expectation of the poor" means that the poor are entitled to the redistribution of wealth. Can anyone help me prove him wrong? I was hoping your Conservative Translation would have a better way of translating that verse, which avoids any possibility of liberal/socialist/communist twisting, but I find that you unfortunately haven't translated that part yet. It is better to translate the Lord's Name as Jehovah rather than "LORD": LORD is not a Name
