Saint Dorotheus of Gaza

Saint Dorotheus of Gaza lived in the 6th century and founded a monastery near Gaza in the Holy Land. He was an author on a series of instructions reguarding the monastic life which advocated humility and asceticism and were based upon the works of early Christian writers.
