Quota Act (1921)

The Quota Act (1921) was an early United States immigration law. [1] The act limited the amount of immigrants to 350,000 per year and general favored the older Anglo-Saxon and northern European immigrations [2]The act was signed by President Warren G. Harding on May 19, 1921 and was the first limit on immigration in the Western Hemisphere.[3]
