A pineapple is a tropical fruit with a tough prickly exterior and a serrated 'crown' of leaves. The interior of a pineapple can be bright yellow and when ripe is full of sugars, which give it a sweet taste.

Due to its traditional use in Colonial America, the pineapple is recognized today as a Christian symbol.[1]
