Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers are a professional basketball team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The "Sixers" play in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference at the Wachovia Center. They are named after the signing of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia in 1776.

They won the NBA Championship three times, but not since 1982-83. Championships: 1955, 1967, 1983
