The New Seven Wonders of the World are seven man-made structures chosen by public vote to represent global heritage throughout history. The selections were announced on 7 July 2007. The idea was inspired by the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

The New Seven Wonders of the World are:

The statue of Christ Redeemer, Brazil
Chichen Itza, Mexico
Petra, Jordan
The Great Wall of China, China
Machu Picchu, Peru
The Colosseum, Italy
