Neil A. Abercrombie, born June 26, 1938 (age 74), is the current Governor of Hawaii and former United States Representative from the First Congressional District of Hawaii. A Democrat, he had a liberal voting record and is a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. Abercrombie opted out of seeking reelection and instead ran for governor.
