Michael Bilirakis (born July 16, 1930, Tarpon Springs, FL) served as a Republican U.S. Representative from Florida's 9th congressional district from 1983 through 2007. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and went on to pursue a legal career as a municipal judge before entering politics.
