The Miami Marlins are a Major League Baseball team located in Miami, Florida. The original name of the club, the Florida Marlins, was changed on November 11, 2011. They play in the National League East Division.
The team began playing at Marlin Park, a new stadium, during the 2012 season. The team won the World Series in 1997 and 2003, its only playoff berths, after winning the wild card both years.
