The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is an offshoot from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The church claims that the revelation to the mainline church to stop practicing polygamy was false.

They still practice polygamy today, but are rarely prosecuted. They have moved away from the more conservative states like Utah. Some law enforcement wish to legitimize false "marriages" like gay marriage, and so cover up or ignore the crimes of some members of the church.
