The Florida Marlins are a Major League Baseball team located in Miami, Florida. They play in the National League East Division.

There has been considerable talk of the team moving or building a new stadium in the coming years. The team won the World Series in 1997 and 2003, its only playoff berths, after winning the wild card both years.
