Firmin Abauzit

Firmin Abauzit ( b. Nov. 11, 1679, Uzès, Fr. - d. March 20, 1767, Geneva, Switz.) was a French Protestant theologian and a mathematician, a friend of Sir Isaac Newton, and much esteemed for his learning by Rousseau and Voltaire.[1]

Abauzit also contributed to a French translation of the New Testament.
