English and Metric Units

This chart gives the conversion ratios that, as a matter of United States federal law, are required to convert between the metric system and the US Customary System of Units, commonly known as "the English system", (although several US customer units have different sizes to the British units of the same name.)

Temperature Conversions

To convert from degrees Fahrenheit to degrees Centigrade, subtract 32 degrees from the temperature and multiply by 5/9.
