Anti-radiation missile

An Anti-radiation missile is a missile, typically launched from an aircraft, which homes in on radiation. It is used against enemy radar sites. Anti-radiation missiles were first used extensively in the Vietnam War, carried on specialized planes called Wild Weasels. One of the first models was the AGM-45 Shrike.
