Article of the Year: Evolution

In 2006, the prestigious science journal Science reported concerning the United States: "The percentage of people in the country who accept the idea of evolution has declined from 45 in 1985 to 40 in 2005. Meanwhile the fraction of Americans unsure about evolution has soared from 7 per cent in 1985 to 21 per cent last year."[9]

Evolutionary Racism of Hitler and Darwin

Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf was a work which contained evolutionary racism.[1] In his work Mein Kampf, Hitler wrote of "Monstrosities halfway between man and ape" and decried Christians going to "Central Africa" to set up "Negro missions," which Hitler stated resulted in the turning of "healthy . . . human beings into a rotten brood of bastards."[2] Adolf Hitler also wrote the following evolutionary racist statement in Mein Kampf: "The stronger must dominate and not blend with the weaker, thus sacrificing his own greatness. Only the born weakling can view this as cruel, but he, after all, is only a weak and limited man; for if this law did not prevail, any conceivable higher development (Hoherentwicklung) of organic living beings would be unthinkable."[3] Charles Darwin was also a evolutionary racist. [4] Prominent evolutionist Richard Dawkins stated the following regarding Hitler: “What’s to prevent us from saying Hitler wasn’t right? I mean, that is a genuinely difficult question."[5] (The above picture is of the evolutionist Adolf Hitler shortly after he was released from jail)

Hollywood Conservatives Encouraged to Come Out of the Closet
Andrew Breitbart, the conservative founder of Breitbart.com and author of "Hollywood Interrupted: Insanity Chic in Babylon," is launching a Web site he hopes will help challenge the status quo in what he believes has been a one-party, left-tilting town. Set to debut on Jan. 6, "Big Hollywood" will be a place where center, right and libertarian-leaning celebrities and industry-insiders can weigh in on Hollywood politics, offer film, television and movie reviews, and have an open forum for political discussion. [11]

Global warming snooze: the liberal rag Huffington Post wants Al Gore to apologize for what it called "the biggest whopper ever sold to the public in the history of humankind" [13], while sea ice returns to levels observed way back in 1979: [14]

Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid demonstrates how he is the dumbest man in Washington. In explaining why he insists that the all-white Senate refuse to seat the black appointee Roland Burris, Reid declared, "It's not the person that has been appointed, it's the appointee."[17] Reid is dumber than even the internet vandals. See Essay:Examples of Moronic Vandalism by the "tolerant"

Michelle Obama is copying Jackie Kennedy Onassis: "Her obvious imitation of Jackie O's style -- the flipped-under hair, the sleeveless A-line dresses, the short strands of fake pearls -- would have been laughable if done by anyone other than a media-designated saint," writes Ann Coulter in her new book.[19]

Conservapedians begin plans for attending the March for Life. More homeschoolers are expected to show the initiative, take the effort and attend than all public schoolers combined.

Liberal wants to be Governor
Liberal wants to be Governor

Another liberal Democratic bozo wants a top government job: Terry McAuliffe, who has never held public office before, announces that he wants to be governor of Virginia.[20] Will Al Franken campaign for him?

WorldNetDaily reports: "In Washington state, attorney Stephen Pidgeon is representing 12 plaintiffs in a case that claims to have standing under a unique Washington statute that allows any registered voter to challenge the election of someone who, at the time of the election, was ineligible to hold the office. The suit intends to include a subpoena of Obama's Hawaii birth certificate. The case is scheduled for argument before the Washington Supreme Court on Jan. 8."[22]

Another reason for homeschooling ... Public Schools Change Young Evangelicals' Values
Phyllis Schlafly asks, "What caused young evangelicals, the children of the so-called 'religious right,' to change their moral imperatives so dramatically? Most likely it's the attitudes and decision-making they learned in the public schools, which 89 percent of U.S. students attend." [23]

In our biggest expansion in over a year, Conservapedia is bringing in the New Year by promoting 6 new Sysops.

Congratulations to the new Sysops:

HERE'S TO AN EVEN BETTER 2009!!!

It appears as if more and more Americans doubt whether Obama is a natural born citizen and therefore legally entitled to be President of the United States. The numbers of Americans who are concerned about this issue may be extremely large. The liberal "mainstream" media continues to be negligent in doing their duty when it comes to informing the public and about this issue. [30] It is no surprise that the very liberal New York Times has lost 60 percent of its stock value in 2008 as consumers keep finding alternative news content and companies find better places to advertise and sell their products.

Only 17% of Chicago's eighth-grade students can read at grade-level, and the man who's administered that school system is Obama's choice to be the secretary of education: [31]

Michelle Malkin: The bottomless UAW money pit
"What does the UAW stand for? Unending Abuse and Waste." [32]

Time to revisit the UAW's own past discrimination against those Americans who dared to drive a vehicle with a foreign nameplate, never mind the fact that the drivers in this example wear the uniform of the United States Marine Corps: [33]

In one area, Christian schools are on the rise, with enrollment growing by 25 percent.[34]

Peter LaBarbera recently wrote an interesting piece about Obama's doublespeak on the issue of "homosexual marriage". [35]

"The results of Che's utopian agenda aren't much to admire either. As author Paul Berman explained in 2004 in Slate, 'The cult of Ernesto Che Guevara is an episode in the moral callousness of our time. Che was a totalitarian. He achieved nothing but disaster.' The miserable Argentine was killed in 1967 in the Bolivian Andes while trying to spread revolution in South America. But his vision of how to govern lives on in the Cuba of today. It is a slave plantation, where a handful of wealthy white men impose their "morality" on the masses, most of whom are black and who suffer unspeakable privation with zero civil liberties.[36]

Christians called to abandon public education
"That all families, churches, pastors, major Christian ministries and organizations, concentrate for one year on extracting Christian children from the pagan, godless public schools."
"State-run public schools have become destructive to our children's Christian faith. They no longer educate but rather indoctrinate. Not only morally corrupt, public schools are unsafe because of the violence and crime that occurs in them on a regular basis." [37]

"The U.S. and international news media are falsely portraying an Israeli air strike against a Hamas-run university in the Gaza Strip, claiming a 'woman's wing' was targeted, when, according to the Israeli military, the target was a weapons lab at the school's chemistry department." [38]

The awkward co-dependence of blacks and liberal Democrats: [39]

Democratic "Senate Majority Leader Faces Tough Re-Election Race In 2010"; Harry Reid may be one of the liberals who loses his seat in 22 months.[40]

The Republican Governor of Florida, Charlie Crist, has stood up to the liberals and added a conservative to the list of potential nominees to the Florida Supreme Court. The leftist Palm Beach Post is squealing like a stuck pig.[41]

Phyllis Schlafly: Obama's Global Agenda
Mr. Obama's U.N. treaties are the enemy of U.S. political and social independence, and Mr. Kirk's global economic community is the enemy of good middle-class American jobs. [42]

2008 was the year man-made global warming was disproved: [43]

The Conservative Elevator Story
The current situation is intolerable. Liberals are to blame. The solution is to get government out of our lives and put people back in. And the future is glorious, just as Ronald Reagan promised. [44]

The Unitarian Church and Obama's Religious Upbringing: [45]

Update on Blagojevich scandal: "The chairman of the House impeachment committee, state Rep. Barbara Flynn Currie (D-Chicago), will respect [U.S. Atty. Patrick Fitzgerald]'s request and not issue the subpoenas for incoming White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel and close Obama friend and adviser Valerie Jarrett" ... because Fitzgerald said "doing so would 'significantly compromise' his ongoing criminal investigation of the governor."[46]

How is Universal Healthcare working in the UK? A pregnant woman in the U.K., Lynne Neilson was left unattended for two-and-a-half hours before giving birth on a hospital floor. Despite her desperate appeal for a bed, a healthy baby Orla was delivered with the umbilical cord around her neck, a potentially life threatening occurrence. [47]

Top Scholars Confirm Truth of Christianity
“Top scholars, historians and experts have confirmed that the Bible is the most historically and intellectually reliable ancient text in the whole world, including the Bible’s account of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and the apostles and disciples who wrote the New Testament documents.” [48]

The Atheists Who Try to Steal Christmas
"Their attempt to subvert Christmas with a claim that it is simply a superstitious appropriation of the solstice resembles other attempts to diminish and ultimately wipe out Christianity." [49] [50]

According to Ann Coulter and Human Events, Sarah Palin is the Conservative of the Year. "She ought to spend the next decade being a good governor, tending to her children so none of them turn out like Ron Reagan Jr., and reading everything Phyllis Schlafly, Thomas Sowell, Ronald Reagan and “Publius” have ever written." [51] [52]

Ann Coulter: My Triumph Over Kwanzaa!
"Kwanzaa itself is a nutty blend of schmaltzy '60s rhetoric, black racism and Marxism. Kwanzaa liberates no one; Christianity liberates everyone, proclaiming that we are all equal before God." [53]

The psychopathology of Bush hatred
President George W. Bush is being crucified in the public square in spite of his plain decency and goodness, and in spite of his remarkable success in winning two difficult wars to protect this nation from harm. [54]

Another conservative ruling: the New Jersey Supreme Court holds unanimously in favor of gun rights.[55][56]

Pressure to give Caroline Kennedy a U.S. Senate seat runs into criticism. New York Governor "Paterson: Kennedy Is Not a 'Front-Runner' For Senate." He slammed the gossip: "chatter about Kennedy's chances was 'sounding more like the prelude to a high school prom than the choosing of the United States senator.'"[57]

Obama avoids church on Christmas. "Obama has not attended a public church service since before the Nov. 4 election."[58] Good thing he's a Christian as he claimed, right???

"Up to 20 percent of children and adolescents are affected by persistent and excessive worry that can manifest as generalized anxiety disorder, separation anxiety disorder and social phobia," accordingly to researchers. [59] Anxiety can be described as a lack of faith.

"And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn." Luke 2:7 (KJV)

"Indeed, from [Jesus's] fullness we have, all of us, received - one gift replacing another." John 1:16 (NJB) (Note: "gift" is another translation for "grace")
